World and Latvian champions invite you to participate

 

Nikolajs Lucans, Latvian Rogaine champion and winner of Russian Championship of Rogaining says: "Rogaining is an excellent opportunity to spend several hours in the forest breathing fresh air, visit new place, enjoy the beauty of the nature in the early mornings, late nights and afternoons. Good way how to switch off and relax from daily worries and routines." 

There are World and European champions representing Latvia in rogaining as well. One of them - Ilze Lapiņa (European champion) encourages everyone to try this exciting sport: "Rogaining is the most democratic sport that I know. Every team can create its own strategy and accomplish it. Even in the World Championship where everybody has an opportunity to participate, you can compete with the best athletes in the world. This sport not only makes you fit and healthy physically, but also mentally and emotionally." 

It is possible to apply for competition online www.rigasrogainings.lv until November 27th, 2014, however the cheapest registration and participation fees are until November 9th, 2014. It is possible to choose your own distance based on your own preferences - 2 hours: suitable for families with children to spend a couple of hours in the fresh air. 4 hour distance: it will be best for friends and colleagues to enjoy the active lifestyle, however 6 hour distance will give an opportunity to enjoy different emotions as the finish of this distance is expected to be in the dark. The event centre will be located next to the shopping mall "Alfa", however the distance will lead in the surrounding forests and city regions.
