DESCRIPTION

In Soviet time maps, Mežgarciems air defense training base no. The S-75 PGA is depicted as either a white and fluffy pine forest or a pioneer camp. In fact, a whole town was built here for military personnel, where military equipment storage, missile hangars, military infrastructure, as well as concrete slabs with bas-reliefs of Soviet propaganda and military history are still preserved.
