For the first time, Legend Rogaining welcomed active lifestyle enthusiasts to Pilsrundāle in Bauska Municipality. Participants explored a new and beautiful area, beginning with the special event centre right next to Rundāle Palace. They enjoyed old manor roads, rural farmsteads and several palaces and castles within the event area.
With the previous round winners absent, former runners-up Valdis Čunka and Jānis Ķemers (Riga adventure team) won the INTERVALS.LV 6h course with 163 points. Kārlis Lauders, who had just won European Championship silver in 24-hour rogaining, teamed up with his wife Rita (Lauder architects) to finish second, two points behind. Mikus Bērziņš and Edgars Jurjāns (Vietējais naids) were close behind in third with 159 points.
Reunited in their original line-up, Gunārs Ozoliņš and Uldis Pirmeistars (Bārdas LV) won the IMPRO 4h course with 115 points. Time on the course decided second overall: both Riga Trail runners (Ēriks Bogdanovs and Edijs Tropiņš), who finished second, and the best mixed team, Schwerpunkt (Maksims and Ilze Leščinski), scored 111 points.
Mārtiņš Linde, a European Championship top-20 MTB orienteering sprint finisher, and former World Championship participant Dina Zobena both claimed their third wins in the ALEXELA 3h MTB course, scoring 155 and 130 points respectively. Toms Veits finished second for the second time this season, five points behind Linde, while former skier Rūdolfs Kļaviņš was third again. Mārīte Kājiņa took her second women's runner-up finish, while Aiga Strazdiņa earned her first podium place. The two rode together and scored 114 points.
Kalvis Brūns and Imants Kaktabullis (ROUTE 86) returned to first place in the TVNET+ 2h course with 63 points. Mixed-category winners Salvis and Ilona Daģis (Dejavu) followed with 61. For the first time this season, they finished within the time limit and avoided late penalties. The previous round winners, Jānis Zeltiņš and Vladas Kutiavinas (Redshift team), finished third with 52 points.
Rubens Šulcs won the MAGNESIA 2h solo rogaine with 70 points. In an exceptionally close battle for second, with equal scores, previous round winner Jānis Dūka beat Pāvels Ņevodņičenko. Returning after missing the Ropaži event in late May, Daina Saltuma won the women's competition convincingly with 62 points, shortly after taking silver at the Latvian Vertical Kilometre Championships. Ropaži winner Dace Zumberga and Nora Austriņa took the other podium places.
