City Legends rogaining series returns to the capital
The largest rogaining or team orientation series “Pilsētas leģendas” in the Baltic States will return to the capital, as the fourth stage of the third season will take place on August 20 in Riga and will be called “Rīgas tiltu” rogaining.

The fourth stage of the Rogaining series is organized in cooperation with Riga City Council, supported by Isostar, Garmin, Valmiermuižas alus, Magnesia.
According to the participants' abilities and wishes, the organizers offer 6h Garmin, 4h Kokmuižas and 2h Riga Plaza rogaining distances, as well as 3h MTB, rogaining run, 2h Isostar (O-Run) and rogaining walk for children.
This year, the “Pilsētas leģendu” series has been full of both interesting and positive adventures and trials for the participants. The third season of the series started at the end of March in a strong wind in Bolderāja, continued with the second stage in Daugmale, Ķekava region, where the participants looked for checkpoints in the vicinity of Death Island, but in the last stage they had to get wet in the rain in Valmiera. However, August 20 promises to be sunny and warm.
The competition center will be located at the Fashion and Entertainment Center “Riga Plaza”. It is not for nothing that this stage is called “Rīgas tiltu” rogainings, because there will be opportunities to cross four bridges - Vanšu, Akmens, Sala and Diendi. “Pilsētas leģendas” participants will mostly live along the left bank of the Daugava in search of checkpoints, visiting three Riga “kalnos” - Torņakaln, Āgenskaln and Ziepniekaln, as well as three islands - Lucavsala, Zaķusal, Ķipsala. On the right bank, you will be able to visit the 11.november embankment, Krasta Street and Maskavas Street, also ending up in “Maskačkā” surrounded by many stories.

In Rogaining competitions with 2 to 4 participants, the team includes both athletes and orienteering enthusiasts who are already masters of these competitions, as well as lovers of an active and sporty lifestyle who like to spend their free time in the fresh air and be active. That's why several families also use this option, because rogaining is a very democratic activity in its essence, since the participants can choose the distance and the number of checkpoints suitable for their abilities.
