image

Due to the fact that the world has declared a pandemic of COVID-19 and a state of emergency has been declared in Latvia, the event is postponed to a time that will be announced as soon as the national state of emergency is lifted. The event is not canceled and all participants keep their participation fees. But in spite of that, we are now offering the second e-rogaining. This time on the basis of 2019 Jaunolaine rogaining. Are you ready? Go to: https://www.facebook.com/events/703596280452863/.

INFORMATION ON WHICH DATES THE EVENT WILL BE POSTPONED TO WILL BE PUBLISHED AFTER THE END OF THE CURRENT EMERGENCY ON APRIL 14 (see http://www.olainesrogainings.lv/).

Rogaining competition is a competition with complete dispersion of participants and it takes place in nature. Most likely, even after the end of the state of emergency, there will be a situation in the country when social contact will be limited and the participants themselves will want to limit it, so the organizers will take care to ensure a safe environment, observing the specifics of the rogaining competition:

1) participants will be allowed to start at any time during a certain period of time, fixing the first mark at the starting station as the starting time. Such a solution will ensure minimal contact between participants;

2) we will provide a contactless tagging system, which means that the participant will tag at the checkpoint without touching the station;

3) at the finish, the participants will remove the chips themselves and throw them into the box;

4) the participation medal, card and finish surprise will be placed in the start envelope;

5) the starter packs will be arranged on the tables by number, and the participant will just have to come and pick up theirs.
